How long do I have to make payroll adjustments?

We know you’re busy, and we would never dream of asking you to make same-day adjustments to payroll. That is why payroll adjustments can be made at any time during the work period and typically for 2 days thereafter.

This will provide you with the necessary time to make adjustments to payroll and ensure that it is accurate before it is paid to the employee. So, if you’re paying weekly or bi-weekly, you’ll have until Sunday to make changes to your payroll.

For Massachusetts and Vermont clients, you have 1 day to make payroll adjustments, as your pay period ends on Saturday and the edit window closes on Sunday.

For semi-monthly clients, your payroll closes on the 5th and 20th of each month. You will have until the 7th and 22nd to make changes.

For monthly clients, your payroll closes on the 20th, and you will have until the 22nd to make changes.

For all clients, adjustments can be made until 11:59 pm local time the day your edit window closes (based on the location of your account).

If you missed your edit window, please contact us so we can help!
