Where can I update my personal information?
- Click on Settings
- Click on the General area to make edits to anything that needs to be updated
Account Information
Here you can update your name, email, password, phone number, or mailing address. You can change your worksite address, but you will need to contact us first, as it may change your tax requirements.
If you need to change your name, please contact us first, as your tax accounts are attached to your name. Changing your name without changing the tax accounts can lead to filing issues.
Tax Settings
You can change your filing status and spouse info from this area. If you don't want to add a spouse, you don't need to! Adding a spouse adds their name to the 1040 estimated tax payments that we make to the IRS, but we record the payment against the main SSN. When you file your personal taxes next year, you can denote that you are filing jointly.
Identity Data
If you need to change your SSN or date of birth, you will need to go through the Plaid process again. Please contact us first, as changing your SSN will affect tax filings.
Note: Any updates to Payment Information will be done from the Billing tab. You can change your notification settings under the Notifications tab.
