Workers' Compensation Insurance

Poppins Payroll does not supply or sell Workers' Compensation insurance, but we have a partner you can use!

Workers' compensation insurance provides benefits to your employee in the event of an on-the-job injury. It can also limit an employer’s liability. It’s certainly a good idea to have it, but it’s not required in some states. Please check out our Resource Pages for your state’s rules.

There are some states where you must obtain coverage directly from the state. Please review your state's rules for where to obtain coverage.

If you are not required to obtain insurance directly from the state, we have partnered with Bhalu Insurance, which is our trusted insurance team that specializes in working with Household Employers. They sell and manage the insurance policies you may need or want to ensure that your employee is covered in case of an on-site injury.
